Ian Graham，对象技术大师，SOMA方法（Semantic Object Modelling Approach）的作者。他和Brian Henderson-Sellers创立的OPEN协会（Object-oriented Process, Environment, and Notation）在90年代中期曾经是OMG/UML的对抗者，并提出竞争方案：开放式建模语言（Open Modeling Language (OML)） 。 他的《面向对象方法原理与实践》（第3版有中译本）以及“Migrating To Object Technology”（未有中译本）是面向对象领域的经典名著之一。
Ian Graham目前是TriReme International Ltd的董事，TriReme为客户提供定制的UML、SOA、CBD、敏捷方面的培训服务。
Ian Graham非常喜爱中国文化，修习中国武术已经将近40年，精通白眉、太极、少林、咏春等门派的武功。
